I have begun researching for my Lemans project. It currently has the 3.8l and auto from the factory and still ran pretty good when parked but, I figured I might as well upgrade or refresh. Anyways while searching the forums and craigslist I had a thought. Could I put a Buick V8 right in without the fuss of changing everything up as in a sbc swap. And if I could what donor vehicles would be possibilities for the new heart? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The Buick V8 is an easy swap into a Buick V6 car.

As far as what donor to pull a motor from, the earlier the better (more power) but any of them will be a pleasant upgrade over a V6.
