How would the truck bed coating be on the floor that you get at Auto Zone?

If it will be good and not peal off, I will do that to the floor, not get a carpet and make it a drag car. I will get 4 bucket seats, have the rears removable.

OK I put in a new tank and I am not happy with it. they made the filler neck sit lower that stock so I am hitting the plate now. Guess I will have to mod that.

Was supposed to get a free fuel cell but it ended up having some problems, had a small crack in it. So I just got a new tank and sending unit.

Good luck on your surgery. When you get a chance to work on the car.. I would fix the rusted spots and then if you are not going to put in a carpet. then I have seen the truckliner stuff used only once. and no complaints besides the interior being way too noisey!!! get some earplugs!
Hang in there!

Thanks,surgery should go well.

I decided to put the carpet in. It is way too noisy without it. In fact, I will probably put as much as I can to cut down on noise as I can,

Today I am going to work on the bumper areas. I am going to see if I can make my own bumper fillers and save myself some money. I am going to mold some foam and fiberglass over that.

That thing rotted in some rather odd places!

Those are typical spots of rot for a NE Car that I have seen over the years.

Tend to always see that spot on the rockers on any car driven in the winter. I think the salt used on the road and the slush gets up in between the floor and into the rocker and if you don't take out the plugs in the rocker and flush it or have it oil sprayed then they rot on both sides from under the car and up thru the floorboards. The stupid pads in the back hold the drain plugs down. If they were not installed correctly and really pushed in to the metal then they allow water to collect and rot underneath.

this makes me want to cry reading this
