Their upper torque box is on the list for my wagon and "local" to meMerillat Racing is good stuff for sure.
Scoti this is the company I was thinking of https://wildridesracecars.com/product/g-body-upper-control-arm-mount/
I went back & looked up a little more in-depth on the WildRides piece. It is 'bolt-in' for Fox Body cars. You bolt it in place then weld the perimeter.I've seen the Wild Rides but it looked like a weld-on piece. My top choice thus far was the Merillat Racing piece (also weld on) but I haven't made the effort to really investigate all sources thoroughly yet. I have some buddy's that have a connection w/Roadster Shop & that is tempting but my brain just can't get past ROI of a purchase like that for a g-body. I'm not in the tax bracket where you don't blink about those type of build choices.
I would think you can easily squeeze a 275/8" wheel combo w/the right backspace/offset.yes its narrowed a bit i will have to put a tape on it can't remember off the top of my head
A 15x10" rear wheel w/275mm tire combo is a sweet look......ok now i really need to get this car setup right than i want a 15x10 on the rear so bad! That Malibu looks so good just the way it sits!!
If I was closer, I'd definitely lend a pair of paws for the cause.Very little progress in the end of it but got my new pst bushings pressed in and just got the passenger side setup. Tomorrow I think im going to get the wheel and tire on this side and try to tackle the drivers side than I need to find time to try and set this body down on the frame. Anybody wanna come give me a hand??? Lol Nothing is getting painted yet as I just need this setup so I can get the motor and trans back in it and body on it so it can been sent off to get the torque boxs fully installed along with the rest of the frame bracing and anti-roll bar setup for it as well.
