350 wouldnt be bad... there is a 1972 Cutlass Convertible on Craigslist that they're parting out it has a 350 in it which I might pick up if it has #5 or #6 heads or maybe just for the block and build it from ground up if im lucky to find those heads. But at the same time a LT1 swap for me was quoted $1500, Engine and everything INSTALLED. that includes engine, transmission, pcm, radiator, cut drive shaft, fuel tank and lines, ac working.

Its a hard choice lol
LT1= Fuel Efficiency, cold AC, strong motor, cold start ups, might pass emissions very clean. 15MPG?
350 #6 heads= Strong, little maintnence, no Wires, cheaper, 10 MPG?
Choices :?:

Hmmm im not to sure right now my shifter is stock and it doesnt hit but it comes very close maybe half an inch from touching the screen but im pretty sure there is different stereo kits that could position your indash lower or higher then where its

Mine is in the center of the kit

Nice ride! What does your L5 speaker set-up look like? I just bought some Kicker CVX which is essentially a L7 but round...I am thinking about putting them in my car soon but the box is supposed to be HUGE.So i am debating on a custom enclosure or just a basic box. The car is clean and looks like a headturner.

i noticed that its missing the CHROME BUMPER TRIM MOLDING on the back bumper!!! you could find them on ebay brand new for like 70 bucks!

LT1,
1. better fuel economy, always a good thing.(regardless of today's gas prices, mid summer 2 years from now gas prices could be doubled(though it's not likely), you just never know. Gas can be held at ransom by oil barons at any given moment!)
2. Might pass emissions? Heck, you know it could with little troubles.
A. That really helps marketability(though you're not building your car to sell it, It's nice to know that you won't be stuck with very small regional area's of acceptability when it comes time to pull out your invested dollars). And with every year that passes, so do more and more emissions laws, so non-emissions vehicles are literally getting harder to sell and less acceptable, which also is effecting their overall value.
B. It flat out gains attention at car shows. Especially when you're the only one in a row of naturally aspirated cars.
C. It's a progressive swap, bringing in the more current technology of fuel injection.

And I guess I'm just kinda Bias when it comes to SBC vs. SB-Olds, everybody has their preference for whatever reasons. I can't ignore the differences in aftermarket performance parts, everything is way more affordable for the SBC and in some cases some manufactures don't even make some of the Billet parts for the Olds.

that's my 2 cents.

Great progress on the car, She's looking good!

You should get a quote for a 5.3 or 4.8 swap too. Really you'll need the same ammount of parts for either swap, the cost may be a bit different though

I'm not usually a fan of big rims on cars, but I must say, those are very tastefully done sir!
