Buying S10 front brakes from salvage yard need help

if the blazer brakes your talking about is only 1/2" larger than the stock g-body rotors. stock g-body is 9.5" and that s10 is 10".

and the camaro rear discs are 12" rotors

I was told g-body rotors are 10.5" and the blazer are 11"

oops your right the stock g-body is 10.5" and the s10 is 11", still too small for my liking

I got a couple qustions.. first will i be able to use my stock A-arms for the front S10 spindles. And what should i look for as far as the rear end. I would love some disk brakes in the rear. Getting a good deal on a 995 blazer 2wd 2door.

Oh, the Blazer front rotor is 10.82" with a dual piston caliper. The entire 2WD blazer from the spindle out is a direct replacement bolt on for the g-body spindle set-up.

These pictures are both the front Blazer brakes and rear Camaro brakes.

Well i will be getting both spindles, both calipers, both rotors for 100 bucks... am soooo excited for this project on my Monte Carlo. Iam still wondering about the rear end its a disk brake rear end. Has anyone done this swap into a Gbody or is it better to just go with the Fbody rear end. Am running BIG heavy wheels so braking is really important

Is that off from the 1995 Blazer you talked about above? They will work, but it will be the same thing that's already on the Monte. The Blazer upgrade is from 1998 and newer 2wd Blazers.

IIRC they are 11in, but they also use a much better caliper with dual pistons. Its also much easier to upgrade to corvette brakes. They should fit most stock 15in rims without issue.

It will also clear 14" steel wheels

Really? I heard somewhere they wouldn't work with 14 inch rims but I hope so because I have 14s...
