Or you can be like my friend and spend 13K on a Ninja Xr14 or whatever on a loan when he doesnt have his house paid off yet, or tv. or washer and dryer that he spent 3K on lol. Hes a ****ing idiot. Hes also the same idiot that I posted a few days ago about in the off topic section. He bought the bike that goes 203MPH but will never drive it over 100, lol sh*t if I had one id do 203 to see what it was like. lol

I think they keep GMC , because in europe the "real" chevy´s were sold under the GMC label , only the HHR is sold under the Chevrolet label (with this rubbish Daewo cars , labeld Chevrolet , too over here).
Hummer cars were not official sold over here , Pontiac or Saturn or Oldsmobile were not and have not been sold here , too.
So they think global i think , OPEL over here in germany has the same problem .... No one knows what will happen...
It is sad what happens in this time...
Same with Chrysler... I hope they will stay , so that in the future it will be possible to buy a Charger... ;-) And when they go with FIAT...Why not ? If it is a way to go , they should do it !
I hope there will be a way for all of them to produce cars , that are not the "norm" and give us a smile when we the them....

i just think gm got too many side jobs and forgot about the main one. how many names does/did gm have? i got chevy, gmc, ponte, olds, buick, saturn, and hummer. thats alot of things to keep tabs on and most of them are very similer. i had a few customers here with the pontiac g5 and the chevy cobalt. the only differences were the color and the pontiac had a cover for the grille and the chevy didnt. plus the new malibu and impala look like toyotas. and to me buick is just a retirement car nowadays. well except my friend bought a brand new one and shes my age. i dont get it but, whatevers clever. and ive noticed that saturn went from a low budget, a to b car, to cars that had too many bells and whistles. well except the ruby sky redline, that thing is fricken AWESOME. i dunno, i guess they just gotta get back to the basics and stop manking so many different/same looking cars. and dont get me started on how many different cars gm has in there huge lineup. thats just to damn many imo.

Corvette

Over here , the Corvette is sold under its own label ! It is a Corvette build by Corvette....

And , as i said before , they sell Daewo cars under the Chevrolet label :-(

Is Cadillac still Cadillac or is it GM , too ?

Buick sells well in China (go figure!), but in the US it has the reputation of being the car you buy when you are old, have given up on life and are waiting to die. Nothing good has come out of Buick in the US since the death of the Grand National. As for GM side projects, don't forget the others: Opel, Vauxhaull, Isuzu, and Holden. I think Isuzu recently became independent of GM, Opel is rumored to be sold to Fiat, and I don't know about Holden and Vauxhaul. As for Daewoo, my guess is that buying it out of bankruptcy was a desperation move. No one here liked what they had to offer when they were called Daewoos and not Chevys or Pontiacs. The only Daewoo product we get here is the horriful Aveo and I can't say anyone will miss it. It's like a Hyundai Accent, but without the performance, style and refinement. It is to a real car what a 50cc moped is to a real motorcycle.

Opel

In fact...no one here knows what will happen with OPEL.People here in germany say , they must get independent from GM is thy only way to go on.If that happens , our government will help OPEL to live on and give money.
It were only rumours that FIAT will buy OPEL...
There were some people that say FIAT should go with Chrysler...
But at this time , there are no facts what will happen.
What about FORD in the USA ? Have they massive problems , too ?

I had a 1986 BUICK ELECTRA Estate wagon several years ago and i think it was better than a Caprice wagon , more luxury and better equippet!? Ok it only had a 305 in it with 150 hp (a 350 would be better like in the Caprice) , but it was my daily driver and for that it was very nice !

Well, a Buick is nothing more than an upmarket Chevy. They have nicer interiors and a splash more chrome, but that is about the extent of the differences. Also, Chevy Caprice wagons came with 305's too as well as the terrible 267 V8 and even the Olds 307 depending on the year and how it was ordered. The 350's were really only prevalent on the models from the 90's. The 80's ones were very slow.

Oh...yes.. I think it had the 307 Olds engine in it , i think the same as in the small Cadillacs at that time...
My 41hp MINI felt like a racecar compared with the Buick ;-)

So , i get more informations from that forum here what happens with GM , than out of our german newspapers and so on...
No one over here talks about that PONTIAC will go...
