Hey guys looking to change cam in my cutlass, it's a 68 olds 350 with #5 heads, have been redone, valves, springs, ect, edelbrock aluminum performer intake, hooker headers, th350 trans with 3k stall and shift kit, and a GN 3:42 posi rear... This is the cam I have in it now http://www.cranecams.com/product/cart.p ... il&p=24152

Looking for something bigger and more sound but, looking for more power with the setup I have motor had been completely redone... Not sure how much more info you would need to help Me decide a good cam compression I believe is 10:1 high compression pistons

You have one of the best Olds 350 blocks and head combos already. A good cam and headers will wake it up for sure. I am using a comp cam but a lot of the Olds guys swear by Lunati cams. Here is a link that may help you out. I prefer less stall and more torque on the low end but considering your set up I would try this cam. BTW...Swapping out the performer for an RPM performer will also net gains but requires hood clearance in a G body.

Thanks for the info! , just need to get as much info as I can before I go and slap another cam in want something that is quick on the streets and does pretty good on the track not looking to
Brake 10's but looking for the best cam that will work with what I have

for what it's worth, i don't particularly care for 'off the shelf' cams anymore.. you can get a custom grind for about the same price and end up some something much better for your money.. i may be wrong, but i believe you can actually get custom grinds straight through summit, now.. best bet, talk to crane/comp/lunati and see what they suggest
