We just pulled the motor in my wagon today. Had low/no oil pressure. Found that one of the lifters was worn through so all the oil was going there. This made us decide to tear the engine down because the one umbrella on top of the lifter springs was broken and there were pieces of it that weren't to be found on the top side. We found them in the oil pan. This led us to believe that the cam was no good, which we confirmed.Good news is that the block is in great shape, found that it is a 350 block bored over 30. I apologize if any of this doesn't make total sense but I have never built an engine so I am learning. My buddy thinks I should get the Lunati Voodoo cam. It has .489 intake and .504 exhaust lift.
Any thoughts?
