I installed a camshaft, lifters, double roller timing chain, carb and cleaner awhile last year. Had two videos I made that I thought I would share.

Yeah I can't wait till the weekend, me and my neighbor are just about done with his 440 six pack 72 challenger. We just have the fuel and vacuum lines to hook uo. Then we will start it with open headers!!!!!!

Thats just the cam with the dual exhaust running through glasspack. I havent even installed my headers yet.

sounds just like the cam i just pulled out! i just installed a MUCH milder cam in mine, and i've never heard my car run smoother! i'll be holding onto my thumpy cam for another project.

Thanks for the comments. Next is a transmission and gears. Thinking of going with a th400. My friend has the same motor but with vortec heads, smaller camshaft, holley carb and he pulled on me from a stand still. Not by much but enough. He has th350 and I have th250

If you're not planning some extreme hp motor you'll be fine with a TH350, they don't take as much power to run.
