88hurstolds no I didn't give the engine and transmission away. He is paying me a total of 800 for both plus the exhaust and a very good condition snorkel air cleaner. And the trailer hitch on the rear end. He just paid me 100$ to hold it. Is 800$ about right for all that?

$800 is fair, the trans as a core, unknown condition usually sell for $250-300, 307 not so much but good running engine and trans is worth $500-600 plus the extras you have there so $800 is fair.
Sounded like you sold it for $100 :lol:

Lol NO I would not sell that for 100$. The engine only had 45,000 miles on it. And it is a V8

I saw some T tops for a 75 Oldsmobile on Craigslist and he was selling them for only 120. Is that too cheap. They looked exactly like mine and he said in the add they fit a 73-77 olds
