Can you swap a 78 to 81 el camino front end onto a 82 to 87 el camino?

I just prefer the 78 to 81 bumpers over the 82 to 87 bumpers.

The '78-'81 header will have issues with the fenders cause there is interference where the sidemarkers but up to the fender. As for the front chrome bumper, it is the same for all years.
