Greetings Blake & all; Well I made it home, perfect weather yesterday. Lost count of my auto-X passed, 5 or 6? Did fare 31.15 best, maybe the top 1/3? That was Friday & Blake I took 40 pictures, give or take of G - cars Saturday. They're still in the camera & with my desk top computer still getting up dated I'm not sure I'll be able to get them out until I get it back. Then the next question how will I get 40 or more pictures to you? Aren't we limited to 5 per post? Ideas welcome. Plans for the drag strip didn't work out as I had hoped. That will give me reason to go down to Byron in a few weeks. The new exhaust worked out well as I ran open headers on the auto-X. The flag & timer guys were plugging their ears as I left the start line. And I hadn't heard the car with open headers since around 2003 with the ol'e #2 engine. I guess I had never had the headers open with this #3 engine & it's loud! I should add that speaking with the various G - car owners was a blast, I'm sorry if I don't remember all your names as my brain doesn't retain much any more. I'll claim a senior moment, please forgive me. And Thank You ever so much for the conversations. Anyway over the next week or two we'll try to get these pictures posted. Later Ol'e Bob.
