so i bought an 86 regal yesterday all blacked out ala gn this car had 77,000 orig kms 😀 drives like a brand new car..one thing i have noticed is the windows gettin a bit foggy with the def on..plenty of warm air but im thinking maybee a small leak in the heater core?..or ?
i will post some pics later today

heater core or if it's an AC car it might be the heater lines at the connection to the heater core. I had a heater line that developed a pin hole and would spray coolant into the enclosure

you are in BC? It is cold there. If there is snow in the car or even the exhaled breathe will condense on the cold windows. The AC compressor should be running in DEF mode to cool the air blowing over the evaporator and take the humidity out of the air before it blows out.

its a non ac car and weather was fairly dry yesterday and temp wise maybee 7 or 8 degrees not so cold and wintery in the vancouver area, im guessing its something in the heater core, i guess i need to open it up..raining like a s.o.b. today so i wont open that can o worms

I forgot to mention this but if it is the heater core you'd smell the sweet smell of the coolant and the fog on the windshield would be a film and hard to clean...

You don't need to taste it, you'll notice it if the film feels like an oily substance. Also if you take a paper towel if it just humidity it will wipe of, if it's coolant it will be very hard to clean off and will leave streaks.
