If you have 12' ceilings go with the atlas 2 post lift for under 2k. I drove down to Indianapolis and pick mine up. I can do anything from body off the frame to pulling transmission and brake jobs and more

I have an old school, 9k lbs, chicago built ALM 2 post lift in my home shop. You need 13 foot ceilings but I get to do whatever I want without worry. I bought mine used for 2k installed and it's a lot beafier built than any equivalent new 9k lift. My buddies k2500, 4x4, duramax extended cab pick-up goes up as easily as my 07 Subie and is just as stable.
