I noticed yesterday that my temp gage was up 30 degrees higher than normal, i drove the rebuild for a year at the same temp now all of a sudden up 30 degrees,i checked for leaks, coolant is up all the way and water pump is pumpin cap rubber seems ok im stumped any suggestions would be great i looked everywhere for help on the subject the only thing i found was burp it so i tried but nothing changed..i no its going to overheat if i take it to far..

could be the sending or gauge is not giving you an accurate reading. I check mine with a laser temp gauge aimed at the thermostat housing and add 10º to the reading I get.

i drove it for a year at this temp, should i just drive it for a while and see if it overheats? and im not running a t stat

I wouldn't run the engine with no thermostat. I don't consider an engine to be overheating at 200º. I don't get concerned until it starts going over 240º

^X2.
That's good advice; cooler operating temps lead to sludge build-up, less efficient operation and higher emission levels.
These engines were designed to run in the 200-230F range. Thermostats were 195F from the factory.
