My tow unit is down or I would come out and help you.

Get AAA premium. I have it, it includes. 250 mile tow.

Must have changed. Premier is showing only 200 mile tow. 119/yr.

Check Texas AAA it might be different. Screenshot_20230430-142856.png Screenshot_20230430-142633.png

Might be splitting hairs...

Dallas to Austin is 195miles.

You would have to put in start and final addresses to check.

You would have to be member first then wait like 48 or 72 hours before request. Screenshot_20230430-143449.png

Yep. Might have to tow (most go flat bed) to some spot about 30 miles north of house, get oil changed. Then call AAA again to transport from there to house a couple days later... Figure. Might take a couple days to inspect headlights, belts, hoses, wipers and tread depth, change oil...

I used Interstate nearly 10 years ago and was satisfied with their service, a limitation is they are semi-only so they prefer the pick-up and drop-off locations be large parking lots with a lot of level space to load/unload vehicles per their load plan.

Moved in the past 2 months, had a good experience with Kevin Costonis at Premier Auto Carriers to move the Mustang. He's a broker for a bunch of different haulers (sometimes he'll contract with Interstate or Reliable), I needed a guaranteed "pick-up by this date" and he was the only carrier who would commit ... Interstate was sending all its trucks south for Amelia Island so they didn't know when a truck would next be routed by my area, I wasn't getting good vibes from Reliable, and no other carrier gave me a quote. The price for Premier was roughly the same as Interstate & Reliable, payment was cashier's check at delivery payable to the company doing the hauling. The hauler was an owner/operator semi.
