Carb issues hesitation not starting etc

The Rochester 210 on my Malibu wagon is giving me head aches and I'm looking for answers once in a while my Rpms will drop and it starts to hesitate real bad than idles funny and when I go to give it gas the car wants to shut off I thought maybe the float was getting stuck so I used some seafoam and I didn't have the issue for a week or so and when I try to restart it it will flood sometimes that's y I thought the float but could it be the tps

do you got alot of milelage on the carb? the float could be gummed up with crap,causing it to stick every once in a while.check over all condition of carb,check for vacum leaks,check choke,idle speed etc. you might seafoam it again and run some fuel system cleaner in the gas. at worst you might need a rebuild.
 
I ran into similar problems recently on an older Rochester carb.
Here's what I found:
The float was swollen and was stuck in the float bowl and the well plugs were leaking, dripping fuel out of the bottom of the fuel bowl.
Replaced the pressed-in seals with threaded plugs, replaced the float and all is well again.
