carb question

hey guys i was wondering can i use a carb that came off a chevy on my olds 403

I am assuming this is a Quadrajet? They ranged from 750cfm to 800cfm. Your Chevy one is likely a 750cfm, as the 800's were used on big block BOP motors.

The BOP Qjets had a front mounted fuel inlet, the Chev's had side mounted. The Chevy's had a remote mounted choke, and the BOP's were integral... I don't know much about this, so hopefully someone can chime in.

but yes, you can use the Chevy Qjet on your Old's 403

yeah, as long as it's a factory 4barrel intake manifold. I just don't know much about the choke wiring.
