The 335002 seems to be tuned for modified engines, it looks like they adjust a lot of the off idle that could help you out depending on how modified your engine will become. The 335001 seems to be just stock rebuild. Both have the same jet size. Both will have enough vacuum ports to run distributor advance, converter lock up or any other vacuum operated emission stuff. Two of the smi models dont have a choke....at all, and i'd personally stay away from the electronic controlled ones but that's just me. I don't know much about the demons so i cant help ya there. I hope this helps.
Curlz said:No i wouldn't be too concerned about bypassing it, mine's long gone lol. I disconnected all my vacuum emission crap and all thats left is the bowl vent. My malibu had 5 miles of vacuum lines and I was tired of chasing my tail with vacuum leaks so i removed it all and it runs great.
Curlz said:Nope still the Qjet, the secondaries are mechanically operated, however the top secondary flaps are spring loaded shut and will only open when there is adequate engine vacuum. So when you're around 3/4 throttle, the secondary butterflies open, but the top flaps will only open as much as your engine allows. Making the Qjet so versatile on all sizes of engines, it self regulates so you don't flood the engine when wide open. You can adjust the spring pressure that keeps the secondary flaps shut to determine when the flaps open.
