Race car or street car?

yes but a Q-jet would be the most ideal for a street car.

Ditto the Q-jet. Also, most guys overcarburate, then wonder why the motor is a dog. There are formulas to determine the actual CFM requirement of the motor and when honestly applied, you really need a lot less than you think. That is why the Q-jet is so flexible as it responds to the actual need.

I agree about using a Q-jet. But if I had to choose between Holly or Edelbrock... err I actually just did lol. I went with Edelbrock.
