cargo carpet

I was looking for some a few months back and wound up cutting up a cargo mat for a sururban for mine since I could not find any but I would like the carpet as well

I think you're going to have to make your own, or have an upholstery shop cut and bind the edges for you.
I was able to remove the rear cargo area carpet out of a junkyard Buick Century wagon to use as a pattern when I finally get to do mine. However, I think it would be easy enough to make patterns using heavier paper.
That's about the only solution I can offer at this time. No one to my recollection makes a rear cargo kit for our wagons.

Could this be my calling?

Jack 🙂

I've actually come across a couple of pretty decent ones at one of the wreckers here...a tan one and a burgandy one. I responded to a post on MR to a fellow that was looking for one...but I guess he decided not to go ahead with it. Both wagons have since been crushed. If I had known that this could be a wanted item I would have taken them.

Yikes Kevin! I hate to hear stuff like that... I could've used the burgundy one..
I guess that's pretty much the consensus these days regarding the rate that they're crushing these cars. 🙁

Yeah it was a shame Jack...and the price I could have got them for was...well what I thought was dirt cheap $20 CDN. Hind site is 20/20 I guess I should have grabbed them.

I thought I hit a gold mine for wagon parts a couple of weeks ago when I found this yard with a few Gbody wagons

I asked about the back bumper on this one as I could use it for my camino..it was absolutely minty

turns out he doesn't like to sell just parts..doesn't what to end up with a bunch of half stripped out cars.. so I ask how much for the whole thing....he thought he'd let it go for $1000

so instead of some partial stripped cars he will let them rot to the ground  thats a good idea, and yea I could have used the tan cargo carpet :blam:

I can't figure out some peoples logic.... Looked like some good parts cars there...didn't look like much rust on that gold wagon. Probably had good interior parts in it, too.

Some of those cars look better than the one I'm driving right now!
