CB HELP!!! lol

Well, I'll be getting my original CB antenna back tomorrow (it was in a box at my grandmas house). So I'm gonna throw that original (but very ugly) antenna on and see if I have better luck. Then we'll see from there what's up. The problem is it's 2007. If it was 1977, it'd be FAR easier to find someone who did CB work. haha

had one intalled in my 78 lemans but the damn magnet antenna didnt like it when u haul *ss so i when to a hand held still bad *ss no ugly cb antenna

I can't figure out why you guys would even WANT CB's!! I just came off the road after 10 years as an over the road truck driver. For every one decent person who will give you honest information over the CB, there are 50 raunchy-mouthed *ssh*les who will just ruin it. (Unless you guys like trash talk- more fun to pick a real fight at a bar LOL!) The best part about a CB in my opinion is that it can be turned off, where mine stayed 99% of my trucking career.

I do like old CB equipment though, and would like to have an old Delco CB setup just for nostalgia/looks in a 70's car.

Yea, there is the UNIQUENESS factor. Another example would be the 8 track player.

haha i had a CB hooked up in my camaro for a while it's a blast. Mine worked fine but i used an antenna that i bought from a CB store. IT's not some godugly thing it looks just like a cell phone antenna and works great. i will try to take some pics tonight to show you
