CENTER CONSOLE

okay guys,i am trying to install brackets for a center console and floor shifter. i got the print that shows where to install them. i taced them in place and put a couple bolts to hold the shifter then set the console on the brackets and the shifter sat to high. there was no Clarence between the console and the ashtray.any ideas? need some feedback to hurry up and get it installed so i can POR-15 the floor.

Cutlass' with buckets and the floor console (spelling) didn't have the under radio ash tray. If you remove it, your console should fit nicely as long as the print you have is correct. The console has it's own ashtray but if your not a smoker, works nice for hidden switches.
