Here's a lot of pics from a recent informal Saturday Night cruise-in at the Cedar Park (Austin Suburb) location. Corner of FM 1431 and Hwy 183, behind Schlotzky's Deli. These happen every Saturday evening from about 5-9pm. Come out if you're around!

With the warm weather LOTS of cars came out, and I let my son run wild with the camera, so LOTS of pics here. My 8-year old took most of them. Some are pretty dark, but you get the idea!

This F100 was insane. Supercharged GM 350, hydraulic tilt front...he opened it from INSIDE the truck. Too many mods to list.

The Dart 340 was there

My buddy Doc was there in his funny Maverick Grabber. Cleanest Maverick you'll ever see

The ONE TIME I don't bring the wagon and an LT1 Roadmaster sedan shows up!

One of the last Pontiacs, a Solstice Coupe/Targa showed up

This was funny, a Mirage Turbo with an Eclipse Turbo engine. Sounded wild. Sleeper!

Also keep in mind that the last Sunday of every month the BIG Cars and Coffee meet happens in Leander from 11am-2pm.

The kiddo and I went to Cars and Coffee this past Sunday. Really a good time, and some amazing cars. We got to park the LT1 Roadmaster wagon with all the Corvettes, and it got a lot a good comments and attention. Will take the Cutlass next time. NEED more G-bodies at this meet!

Weather warmed into the 70's too, thank goodness. Got to wear shorts. Happy Days. ; )

I really love Cars and Coffee, there is such a wide range of cars, and you never know what's going to show up!

These are from the last Saturday evening cruise-in, on 11/27. Not a large showing, was only in the low 60's, so a little cool for us Texans, and a lot of the regulars were out of town on Thanksgiving vacation, but an ok showing. The sun was out at least.

Oh and after some "comments" here from my other group about the "underhood appearence" of a recent photo of my Roadmaster... :shock: ... I spent THREE HOURS detailing and polishing the engine compartment this afternoon. So I of course left the Cutlass home and went in the wagon.

The best car there was a GORGEOUS 59 Edsel Corsair convertible. First time this one had been out since the restoration, and it's SO sharp.

Anyway here we go!

Not a bad showing for cold weather in the low 60's

Here's the Edsel. For an Oldsmobile sucking a lemon or a Buick with a toilet-seat grill....this was a SHARP car! I especially liked the combination rear-view mirrors and spotlights. The 50's were sure cool!

The green 67 Mustang GTA was there

And the Ranchero was back

I parked the wagon next to that gorgeous 67 Mercury Marauder

And yes I detail the engine bay of my car for HOURS today. Got a lot of good comments...fun stuff!

Also a really cool original Chevy 10 project truck a kid just got running and back on the road. I like original beaters!

Sun starting to set and that gorgeous green Mustang Bullitt showed up

Along with another hot '05 Mustang GT

And this was different, a VW Corrado with the VR6 engine. I bet this thing flew! The engine looked HUGE in there.

Followed by the other primered Chevy 10 project

And this was funny, a Porsche 924S...have not seen one in a long time

And the yellow '66 Mustang with the nitrous in the trunk showed up

This was an interesting Toyota that showed up...

My buddy Doc showed up in his Maverick just as the cold got to us and I was about to grab Eddie and leave.

Fun but cool evening. ; )

This is the best time of the year for car shows in Texas!! In the summer it too hot to go outside. Ha!
