and now my other son just called, some commercial tenants of his father-in-law flew the coop last nite with a bunch of fixtures so have to file a lawsuit against the tenants for that damage along with the rent they owe...😎

That sucks. What do you mean by fixtures? Plumbing, electrical, something else?

basically anything that is attached to the wall or floor or ceiling, they were operation a coffee shop.....I had one case where my client who was the tenant took the whole floor with her but I won that case cause the floor was one of those composite floating floors that my client had put in. The Judge agree the floor was not a fixture since it was not attached to the structure.
