Has anybody ever installed any type of infant seat anchor into their Gbody :?: My Regal is getting closer to being back on the road and I would like to install some type of anchor. The factory lap belt just doesn't set me at ease :?
I was thinking of mounting a couple of small "u-bolts" that I could clip the anchor straps of the seat to

If anyone has done this, post a picture of what you did  Thanks

I put them in several cars . just a bolt and hook . Once in booster you stuck with the hole . Last 1 I mounted strap behind seat so later remove strap and no holes. Word of warning. Cars seat trash 80"s cloth seat big time

I was looking around and found some pics of a retrofit on a Chrysler. But it did not say where to get the parts.
That is exactly what I am looking for

looks like a nut and bolt a washer and u can prob use a seat belt buckle (the male end)
I like the male side of the seat belt buckle idea

Alot of people have used hardware store supplies, for seat belts.
I urge you don't use this stuff.
Get the seat belt parts you need from a bone yard or get the right parts from a supply house that sells the right stuff.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't use one of those. I would have to get such a small size for my buckles to clip on to them. I am going to talk to some of the race shops in the area here and see if they have any harness buckles, from ripped harnesses

I installed a child seat in my Gbody wagon using the original seat belt mountings, I can't remember who made it but it complied with British safety standards which probably match USA requirements.
Get onto a child restraint website, I'm sure you will find all the information you need to install your seats without resorting to cutting holes in your car.
