I didn't need to drill any holes, the anchoring fitted the original seat belt bolts.
In my view there is no better place to fit restraint systems than the original seat belt mountings designed into the car.
if I could find a suitable setup in the UK I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding something suitable.

I was looking around and found some pics of a retrofit on a Chrysler. But it did not say where to get the parts.

I bought this style at Canadian Tire, was $5. But I never got around to putting it in.
