ok so im trying to get the rest of my parts lined up for my swap. My bellhousing will only allow the 153 tooth flywheel. This is mainly a street car with maybe a trip to the strip once or twice a year (1.5hours away). So i dont see the big need for an sfi approved flywheel.

i was looking @ this flywheel
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ZZZ-50-6516/
and wondering if it is what i should be using or if i should look elsewhere

also i notice that it specifies 10.4" clutch. now ive seen 10.4 and 10.5" clutches and some people say they are the same thing. i just want to be straight on everything.

for a clutch i was looking @ this"
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MCL-75225/

i will be running a 26 spline input muncie m20

so anyways any input would be greatly appreciated. BTW we are looking at the small block hopefully being in the mid 400 hp range

10.4 is the same as a 10.5...I have a 10.5 and it works great. Corvettes used the 10.5 set up for years. The only complaint from some is it took alot of leg to work with a small pressure plate, less leverage.

its just wierd how you get different clutches under both from the same manufacturers. like mcleod lists both 10.4 and 10.5 but the 10.5 is a twin disc setup.

10.5 on summit is alot of ram and hayes clutches and a couple mcleod (1 piece rear though) and 10.4 gives me a couple mcleod and 3 zooms

so confusing
