My brother just came up with a pretty good idea for a cold air intake. I previously sectioned off the turn signal lenses in my '85 Monte so 1/2 would be the turn signal and I planned on putting a fog light in the other 1/2. But his idea was to just cut the lens out on the fog light half and run ducting to my air cleaner. What do you guys think?

sounds like an interesting idea not sure how much air you'd actually get through there but its worth a shot.
What i did was take the high beams out, used the headlight bucked which is slightly dome shapped put a mesh grill behind the headlight trim, then just ran duct work to my dual snorkle air cleaner.
workes pretty nicely as ram air

Im not sure it would be worth the work for that small of an opening. Too bad you couldnt just remove the lower lights, run the duct work there and put the turn signals and fog lights in the grill, but make sure the lamps arent sticking out so it doesnt look gaudy.

Just remove the entire turn signal lense, they are overrated anyhow
