Steve- great link! So page 56 shows the little arm I mentioned. The directional lever pops into the wiper switch. The little arm operates the signal mechanism off the wiper switch. The wiper switch must be correct for the 1986 column -either tilt or non-tilt. Delay or not does not matter if you have no wipers anyway.
