Something I learned from selling PPG was out of all the paint systems offered the lacquer & urathane was more accepting to each other unlike enamel that cause some bad ju-ju to the job.

Just saw this Nick. Virtually no jobbers are mixing lacquers any more. If you got a recent mix its acrylic urethane base. Maybe the original formula was a lacquer and Diamont created a conversion formula to mix it in urethane base. The label or the jobber should tell you what the product is though.
