Considering another garage

There comes a time when enough is enough. Just how many flat blade screw drivers do you need to have, two: a right hand one and a left hand one 🙂 I have about 20 of them! I've been cleaning out stuff I will never use or need. Original AC Delco Spark Plugs for my 81 Vette , trash. Original AC System and fan/shroud for the SS with brackets, bolts and lines: gone for parts credit to a G Body parts store. So now that my Little Garage Attic is clean of old parts, I will not save any more. As far as material cost, where did you hear prices will come down? So will the .35 cent gal of gas! IF you got to build it to make more room you are ;looking at the the wrong way. Get rid of stuff. My next task is the boxes of Christmas lights that have not been strung about for over 7yrs! Getting too old to climb ladders.
what ever you build, make sure you install it on a stub wall, way above grade, I have a client I do work for and he just poured a giant slab whole thing on the same level and then had people come out and install a carport style 2 car garage and its set up crooked on the slab and the eaves drip right on the concrete and runs right under the bottom plate and into the garage . he was thinking it was the grade of the lot around the building. I've got 2 acres outside Albuquerque in the east mountains with a 30 x 40 foot Quonset hut style machine shed with a 9' and two 8' rollup doors. Been here ten years and haven't run out of room yet. Then again, I'm not a "collector."
That's what I'm looking into out here where I'm at in the Mora area, who built yours. Blue sky offers smaller sheds and some car port options but I want something more enclosed lol I got to stay out the wind it's so gusty

I got mine from a dealer in New York out of Canada! 10 years ago. I don't remember who. Shop around, prices really vary! A bit of advise: there's usually an option for the height of a vertical knee wall. Go for the 8' not the 4' like i did. It's easier to build a mezzanine and a false ceiling if you're gonna heat it like I did mine.20210321_071643.jpgSince you're reading this, you must have a G Body. Well that makes two of us in New Mexico!
