I did the same exact thing. So happy with the product. Only issue i had was they were behind on the coilovers and they took another couple weeks to come in.View attachment 102182
How does the ride quality compare with a stock suspension? I'm intriqued by the Ridetech kit but I don't want a more harsh ride at all.

If you're comparing it to a bone stock Malibu, it's definitely firmer. Compared to my cut lowering springs, stock arms with poly bushings, and KYB shocks, it rides much smoother and handles better too. Softer ride actually. It seems weird but the spring rate is also MUCH higher. Mine has 750lb springs on the coilovers in the front. Compared to the aftermarket springs which were 450lbs I think, then I cut them so maybe 550lbs. Difference is where they are mounted, requires a higher spring pressure.

Satin black Rust-Oleum in a quart can, thinned and sprayed. Took about two or three coats. I should have sprayed primer first but oh well... It's not like the car will see bad weather now so really it's just for looks.

I've actually got some time to kill, see attached photo. Going to tailor my frame welds, similar to the juggernaut -- but it won't be as pretty or extensive as his. Sandblast and give it a por-15 treatment.

Louisiana is supposedly requiring businesses out of state to collect sales tax on January 1st. Greedy bastards. I figured since this is my next large purchase I better get it done before then.

Nice rotisserie... wish I had that a few months ago.

I'm wanting to purchase upper / lower control arms from qa1 or Umi, but I'd like to use ridetech coilovers.

Are any of you running one of these setups?

The product description on the Umi arms says to give them a call to discuss but that the ridetechs will work properly. Any of you know what the complications are with this setup?

What about the qa1 arms? Id really like to get their stage 3 handling kit without shocks (HK13-GMG1 I believe). Order 4 ridetech coilovers and be done with it.

Thanks for your responses!
I went with QA1 coil overs and upper and lower control arm. I combined them with custom fab

Is that the Jegs rotisserie? If so, how are you liking it so far? Wanting one for myself.

It's actually the Titan ROT-4500, and yes I do like it alot. I spent about 2-3 weeks researching before I made my purchase. Best price I found was on eBay. You can save some money on delivery if you can ship it to an address with a loading dock
