whats the tool called to help remove the ignition switch auto zone and oreillys wants to give me just the regular steering wheel removal pulley
You use a standard steering wheel puller, but then you need a lock ring removal tool. Every auto parts store should have one in the tools section.
It threads onto the steering shaft, then has a U-strap to push the lock ring forward against the spring, so you can dig out the wire retainer ring that keeps the lock ring on the shaft.
If the tilt is floppy, then you need a tilt pin removal tool to go deeper into the column to tighten the tilt bolts.

im breaking my head after i install the brackets for bucket seats are my seats not supposed to look st8. is chimming or washers needed or is it supposed to seat flat and even by itself????
Something doesn't look right. They should be sitting level without shims. It could be the frame of the seat though causing the issue.
Looks like a possible culprit. I'm not familiar with power tracks, some of the guys that are might chime in. I just don't know if they can be adjusted or not.
i figured it out it was the seats motor one was more up then the other. all i did was find a square tip and tagged it to the drill, stuck it in there and it went up and down thank god this s*** was making me bust a sweat and aggitated
