Coolant temp sensor in water neck

Yea the gasket sticking out isnt exactly a good thing :mrgreen: I would start there and that should narrow it down quite a bit.
 
So, I spent an hour taing off everything to get my intake off, and I pulled that off as well. Both my front and rear gaskets are shot....

I know I torqued all my bolts to spec, so I don't know what went wrong. However, I've been told not to use gaskets when I put it back together, and just to use rtv silicone instead.. What do you think?

And pontiacgp...Can you take a picture of where yours is?

Ta bad, was just some wishful thinking lol.
 
I never use the rubber end seals. Always used rtv, works great.
 
I think the last time I bought intake gaskets for the vortec intake it didn't even come with end gaskets, it had a tube of rtv
 
Thanks guys, I guess I'll be using rtv when I put it back together tomorrow
