How many grams in a lb of BBO if it's overbored by .21 liters of displacement on 108mm stroke?

I still remember how many holes I had to drill when I did the wagon's mini-tub. It sucked. So I am not doing that again.
 
The flanger bit works pretty well, too, but it's set up for Taiwan metal. It needs a bigger step to get into old school steel (with paint). I used it on the rear quarter patches.

Then I guess I am lucky I inherited this from a time when cars weren't beer cans:

Gonna chuck it up in a vice and let it eat...
 
Powered the LCA reinforcement brackets out today. I am somewhat space constrained on the PS due to the proximity between the mount and the muffler. An inch if I remember correctly. So I used that as a guide. Step one was making a tower with a washer inside to keep the hole from elongating under abuse, it is 3/4" high, 1.5" OD.

Next step was to make eleventeen templates until I found the right balance between purpose and limits of the materials I had on hand. The top and bottom plates needed to fit on 3" wide flat steel. Out came Mr. Plasma Cutter. Last step was bending up the centre plates from 1.5" wide plate.

Then I just had to burn it in. Nothing special here other than the top and bottom plates being welded inside and out as I wasn't too sure how effectively I could weld the top side. It worked out fine.

Well that's one more thing ticked off the list. I guess I can put the differential back in now.
