So here's what I think I am going to need to do a basic correction on the suspension:

Or my preference:

Both have a polyurethane bushing option, but I would prefer to have the articulation of heim joints as their are already polyurethane bushings in the differential ears. Truthfully, UMI roto-joints would be ideal.

My brother is pushing me towards this:
And this:

Ideal, yes. But, that is more cost and work than desired for the application/purpose of the car.

Thoughts?
That's stupid money for 1/2 of the control arms. All 4 UMI arms are less and the SouthSide Performance kit for my 8.8 including control arms was less than or equal to that.

p.s. - there's something in the water there

Are we talking about the Trick parts or something else?

No offense to SSP - but, they don't provide a solution that I need, and I am not a fan of their products.

Am I taking a bit of a bath here? Yup.

What other options do I have for an extremely low car that needs to hook and go?

I misread your link to Trick Chassis - I thought you were paying $675 for the upper arms and mounts, but I clicked the wrong link - sorry ‘bout that.

Looks like these are $275 US - that seems reasonable.

I’ll go back to my desk in the back corner of the classroom and sit quietly watching with my recently awarded dunce hat lol.

No worries.

Small update. I pulled the rear part of the interior out and gutted the trunk last night. Laid down some preliminary cut lines around the tubs, and it looks like 2" is going to be the magic number (limit) for what can be removed on the stock frame (paying close attention to the rear seat belt retractors). Going to need to do some more estimation before deciding on what is getting cut out and what is being kept. The pictures I posted earlier were for a car with a Schwartz chassis.

Today I am pulling the gas tank and moving the lines to make room to box up the rear horns before cutting out the kick-out area near the body mounts.
