corner of motor mounts off the frame??????

okay guys i started a engine swap in my 83 cutlass supreme i'm putting in a sbc 350 so i cleaned up the engine bay and set the engine with th350 transmission and drive shaft hooked up all the way but look at these pics below my motor mounts on the bottom corner of the mount sits off the frame is this normal during a engine swap from a 307 to 350.........give me some ideas.

Yes that is correct mounting position for the mounts for BBC and SBC. Have fun getting the nuts on its a pain. Ohh by the way its best to take the frame side mount and motor side mount apart. Put the frame side on the frame and motor side on motor and THEN put the motor in and install motor moount bolts that connect the two toghter

x2 on putting frame side mounts on first, really simple that way. just slide your bolt throguh & tighten it all down.
 
Engine Mount Trouble!!!!

Im trying to do the same thing as you guys..... im putting a sbc in my 1986 cutlass supreme and im using the chevy motors mounts and the right mount brackets that go on the engine block...... i just cant get the passenger side hole to line up so i can put the long bolt through....waht am i doing wrong? Appreciate help![/i]
