In the next month I will be offering CORRECT Factory looking vinyl stripes with the CORRECT shade of gold for 85-87 442's.
I will also be able to do custom colors to match your body color and even custom 442 stripe color as well.
These are the correct body color background stripes with the correct contours to eliminate the guess work of placing clear background stripes and perfect for those wanting correct GM style stripes.

I will also be offering 83-84 Hurst Olds stripes as well as under hood decals for HVAC Box, AC Compressor, Valve Covers, Distributor, Trans, Master Cylinder, Air Cleaner (filter code sticker), Fan Shroud, SSIII center cap (custom even available) and any other factory correct decals you can think of at a later date.
If you have nice examples of these decals I am willing to buy them from you as well.

Any idea what the cost will be for the 442 stripe kit for the entire car? I am gonna need all of the stripes/decals...

This is not a buisness venture.
They'll be offered in limited quantities and won't be available permanently like Stenciles and Stripes or Phoenix Graphics.
Once they''re gone, they're gone...
They are being made off of my NOS sets (which will be destroyed in the process) and will be correct to where you can't tell, I have the option to put in a few custom color orders in based off of the design of the NOS stripes however due to GM liscensing and such the quantities will be limited and the graphics files will be destroyed according to the vendor.
I have yet to get a quote back, they're in the process of rendering and I'll need to do a test fit on a car when they arrive... I had two 1988 Cutlass Supreme W-body Pace Car door decals custom made from NOS originals (I was given the lead by the guy who had them made for his car) for my '88 and they were $300 for the pair to give you an idea, not cheap, but correct in everyway with quality materials.

Put me down for the stock colored 442 pinstriping that goes around the front fascia.

It pisses me off it seems you can get any decal/part under the sun that's a direct match to whatever the originals are but it seems impossible to get 442/H/O decals DONE RIGHT because there's something mysteriously special about them. I've seen some 442 decals that were just laughably bad before. Is that really the best some of these clowns can 'legally' offer? Why the heck does GM care if we get some damn decals that were like the ones originally offered? It's not like anyones competing for buisiness with GM since GM doesn't make them any more. I guess I must me missing something because it just all seems so absurd to me.

Well legally its their intellectual property and anyone creating a serious buisness off of it is lible to get sued.
That is why Im only making a limited quantity for "personal" use.

Hi . . . Two questions:

Will these stripes be molded to the body lines like the NOS stripes?

Will there be body color black in-between the gold (not clear like the S&S/Phoenix stripes)?

If so, I'd definitely be interested.

You got that right! Lawyers for the Ford Motor Co. forced me out of business and hounded me for money until they found out how little I have.
