thank you guys...and thanks MadMonte, but yours is for the OD trans...I have a TH350. That Spectre piece I had in the mid-90s. I don't remember being happy with it, but maybe it's new & improved?
Mine is a th350 lockdown bracket not od

I'm not sure if it is factory or not, the PO had it installed prior to my purchase. I didn't find a part number on it or anything.

thanks guys again...finally got back to this thread. OK Mad Monte I see what happened. Yours as well as yours Bent1973 is for one cable only. I need a setup for BOTH. SSn696 that is closest to what I need.

I had one like this (the old style without that set screw to keep it straight) circa 1995 in another custom vehicle I still have. I am willing to try the new style one, whether from Spectre, Summit, or otherwise.

Hey guys, I am completing my 80 Malibu V8 swap. Digging through my 25+ years of parts (pretty well organized, believe it or not) and I see I don't have the proper throttle/kickdown combo bracket.

My car is a 350, TH350 trans, Holley 1468 carb. The 3 brackets I DO have are the factory 229 V6 one (no good, makes cables too short); one from my 1992 350 block (designed for a 700R4 transmission so kickdown position no good); and last one is useless as it is throttle only (for a manual trans).

Which one works, and where should I get it? Thanks for help, pictures appreciated if you can...now back to the garage!
i ran into this same problem on my 84 ss with the 350 trans and a holley carb. i used the edelbrock adaptor that took care of the throttle cable. but i had to modify it by adding a short piece of steel stock and drilling it for the trans kick down bracket to reach the carburator. no one at the speed shop had a solution. just brackets for od transmissions.
