Yep what he said. May take longer just depends on the oven lol. It may take a little nudge to get it on but its better than beating the hell out of it. You can use a set of torches to heat it up also.

Pontiacgp, I was asuming the OP was talking about chevy engines and the crank gear. Its a press fit with a keyway it keep it in the right spot.

on a chevy engine I have never had to do anything other than lightly tap the gear to get it in place...maybe I've just been lucky
