Hello all I am going to pick up a dual snorkel intake and I have a few ideas.

1. Would be take out the headlight and run it like this

2. Or something like the new hellcat like this but square

If you can figure a way to snorkel the air thru the bumper would be ideal to not mess the headlights. However, if you dont plan on using the high beams then run the snorkel like the hellcat...its less material you have to come up with, spectre sells the 4x6 headlight funnels, etc. The custom setup on my cutlass doesnt snorkel but makes a very noticeable difference and it sounds cool as hell since its a dual cold air setup for efi!! Keep us all posted how it works!

I saw the 68 442 dual snorkel air cleaner with tubing and ducts that mount under the bumper, but they wanted crack prices for it on ebay. Spectre does have all the stuff to do it, including the already stated 4x 6 headlight funnel. I have looked into doing this also, but I will most likely pass since I am doing a 4"cowl hood, and I could make something to get air through there.

You could possibly find an aftermarket 4" x 6" headlight that has hi and low beams so at least you would keep that function, but unless you are running a twin turbo set up I would probably try something under the bumper so it retains a more stock look and depending on what kind of car you want to do this to you could possibly do something actually in the bumper/ front nose assembly.
Also it would be possible to get pulled over if a cop sees you are missing two headlights.

Yeah, I would also vote to keep the stock headlights functional...especially if it's a street driven car. I always liked the air intakes under the bumper like the '68 442.
