That thing's pretty wild lookin...

Is the "(229)" on his quarters a reference to his stump pulling torque monster V6? Or just a shoutout to his home area code? I hope it's the latter, cause I don't know if I'd brag about a 229 in there...

It stands for his area code, Valdosta, GA 229. The his stump pulling torque is supplied by a 383 sbc stroker motor along w/3.73 gears.
Refer to his cardomain page: www.cardomain.com/ride/2904860

Good resources Qdub. Nice. And also there are a little better picture's of the hood on the link you provided.

Looking at these pictures brings back alot of memories. Growing up in los angeles, they would have all these car shows during late 80's/early 90's. It's funny cause i always wondered how they kept there cars so shiny and yet still drive them. Now it's all about how big youre rims are, and how many tv's can you fit lol. Time sure does fly!!!!

Its all different tastes though, some people like lowriders with hydraulics, some like the big wheels, some completely stock, perfect original, and some like to do 1/4 mile burnouts. Thats what make's everything sooo much fun right?
