are those cragars? because those 30 spoke cragars are bad *ss!

Ive got a set of those rims in my garage and still in the box. They were used on a street rod for an indoor show and then takin off.

if you want to do a 4 to 2 door conversion you could just weld the back doors shut and sheet metal where the windors are and then put in a 1/4 window from the 2 doors. May not be what you're looking for but it would be a two door

You would need everything from the firewall back because the angle of the a-pillars are different, so your 2door side glass wouldnt even come close to sealing against the 4door a-pillar. youd basically need a 2door shell to put your doghouse on. im not sure if the fenders are the same or not, i know the 4doors use a different header panel. even if you got it to work, youd spend waaaaaaay more than the 3500 that youre trying to save.
X2
They are not even close I have had both 2 drs and now my first 4dr. Most of the body is different except for the mirrors and headlights, however the front clip and doors are interchangeable with the wagons.

Can you put the 1984-86 tail lights in a 1981-83 body?
Yes I believe the do you would need the whole assembly. The 1984-1986 do NOT have the back up lights in them like the 81-83's do. That is the biggest difference that I am aware of. Like I said they should bolt up.

Here are mine as I am getting it ready to start moving it to my garage just north of Pittsburgh to do it right. You can also see how the from header panel bolts up.

i would leave it a 4 dr. it would be cheaper and easier to just go find a 2dr body and swap the drivetrain. theres nothing wrong with 4drs. they have there own style and following to em. fix it up and rock the 2 extra doors
