So the stock Oldsmobile mounts here car the correct ones but need to be moved forward on the frame. That makes total sense because I ended up having to move the motor mounts all the way back on the swap plates to get them to line up. Do the frame mounts need to be flipped upside down also? I'm thinking about bolting them to the motor them seeing where they sit and then putting bolts in the frame mounts from there, or welding them in the frame.

I know the frame mounts are in the wrong spot now but this is the issue I ran into yesterday.

The SBC frame mounts (the rubber ones) go to the forward edge of the crossmember.

The very front set of holes? also do they stay in the same orientation or do I flip them to where the center bolt hole is closer to the top whereas currently its offset to the bottom.

This is the best pic I can find quickly. If you zoom you should be able to see how the frame mount towards the oil pan hangs off the edge of the crossmember. That is the stock sbc frame mount placement. You'll only have 3 bolts holding them on, two at the top, one at bottom center or rear edge.

Okay guys. I gotcha. I have a different style mount but I think what I have will work once I love it forward. See below picture

I have this style upper mount instead of the Metal concave ones

This is what my lowers look like the one on the lower left

My frame mounts are 2 bolts instead of the 3 bolt ones I am seeing everywhere else. They are identical in width though and fit the upper mounts. I think Once I move them forward and move my motor mounts forward again on the plates it'll fit fine.
