I powder coat on the side so I got lots of badass colors I can do the parts. I pulled the housing and I'm going to redo it another color. Unsure what yet. Maybe Hot pink or something. I'll post some of my powder coat work.

I bought this "LS1 POWER STEERING PUMP" on eBay but I'm not sure it's an actual LS1 PS pump from a Camaro or Vette. I do know that the reservoir isn't included. I think the seller may have listed it falsely on purpose as he started he bought it to do his LS1 swap but didn't need it. I wonder if it's a Lincoln LS ps pump.....

I need a ps pump and reservoir like in the engine pictures as I bought the ICT BILLET kit that positions the accessories in that manner.

I didn't see a pic with a ps pump mounted, but here's my setup. I'm also using an ICT bracket kit with alt moved to pass side and LS1 pump. I got my pump with reservoir from Autozone, but I can't comment on the durability yet since I'm not driving.

Doesn't the Vette pump require a remote reservoir?

Also, your original build list mentions a 2 bar MAP sensor - might wnat to rethink that to a GM 3 bar. https://www.robietherobot.com/storm/mapsensor.htm

Why would a genuine GM 2bar MAP not work? I knew enough to stay away from the once claiming to be 2, 3 etc but that looked like a stock 1bar with a sticker on top of it. I paid like $90 for this MAP sensor and everything I read on the ad and packaging shows it to be a Genuine GM 2bar. I will check those stamped numbers though. Thanks.

2 bar will stop reading at 14.7 psi. That is the only reason, there os not a quality issue or anything of that nature.

I gotcha. Yes sir I'm aware of the limits. I probably will be limited to that level anyhow since I'll be stuck with only pump 93 and a completely stock 4.8L.

I respectfully disagree. A 4.8 with a ‘Stage 2’ cam will take 20 psi before it hits 550 whp. But it will be fun at 14-15.

It’s just that it will be more fun at 20 [emoji12][emoji12]
