Cutlass radio delete plate.

I have never seen one of these radio delete plates before and really never thought anyone would option a gbody without a radio.
It is a diesel car with full gauges including tach, manual windows and locks, no rear defrost but has AC.

My 83 has one, no a/c either, only option is the 307.

like to see a pic of the cluster i have never seen a 4.3/ 5.7 diesel in one of these cars have a tach in them i swapped out hundreds of the diesels in pickups montes cutlass caddys& a regal i wish i had a few of the montes now most were loaded with every option dave

I have a couple diesel gauge clusters.
The tach is actually different and has lower readings than the standard and only goes up to 4500 RPM if I recall correctly.
Some came with a tach delete, I believe all 78-81's did or at least from what I've seen...
The fuel gauge also says diesel fuel only.

The tach in my opinion looks cooler than the reg. But its pointless to use it on a performance aplication if it only tachs out at 4500 radio delete plate is cool if you want to install an 8 track player underneath the drivers seat.

i have seen a few with the tach delete plate but not one with a tach

What a stupid option for somebody to choose back in the day. It's not like today where we could just drive around playing music on the phone or something. What were they thinking lol.
