:shock: you used a torch?!?!?!? that's the worst thing you can do to a spring! you had to have been thinking about a hot girl :wink:

yeah, i used a torch. its all i had at the time. lol. and you know, i probably was thinking about hot girls. haha.
 
i've asked this multiple times but have gotten no replies but here goes, what moog springs give the most drop both front and rear. i have looked at the spec sheet multiple times but i cant make sense of any of the terminology, sorry if i sound stupid, maybe i'm just lazy. 😳

Actually there's a very simple way to cut a spring with a torch. Immerse the spring in a bucket of water so the water line is just below the cut line. Now torch away. I've done this many times with no ill effects to the springs.
 
i can see that working. i like it. especially if you have the torch set right you won't have time to destroy the heat treat of the steel.
