Cutting out wheel wells for tubs....?

You think you could have gone with a 315 with 15x10's?
If you are talking about 315/60R15 on a 15 x 10 rim then no that would add over an inch to the section width which would either rub on the frame or stick out of the wheelwell or both. I had no extra room to go larger with the 295/65 and even a wider rim with those probably would cause issues and I absolutely refuse to have tires sticking out of my wheelwells just to fit a specific size.

I read the biggest tire i can get under a 87 cutlass is like a 9inch tire with out moding the wells and frame.
Cutlass is the most limited out of the Gbodies because it has squared off wheelwells so rubbing on the outer edge ends up being an issue with too big a tire.

I used the Eastwood fender roller on my cutlass. It did a really nice job. I am planning on running 275/60r15's on 8" rims with 3.5" BS.

You should rent that out. I have 275/60R15 on my Regal with an 8" rim and 4" backspace, they are Coopers and are the largest I have seen in this size.

I would like to rent it out. I won it in an ebay auction and didn't pay much. I like the wheels you are running on the regal. I am leaning towards getting the Billet Specialties street lites, and I will run drag radials since I will be 50/50 street and track.

The Regal is very easy to fit large tires under it, Monte is next and the Cutlass and Grand Prix are more troublesome.

I was thinking of the Billet Specialties Street Lites for my Monte but went with the Centerline Convo Telstar as my new rims to replace my Convo Pros.
For my Regal since I am doing it on a budget I bought those rims used off Craigslist for $150 for the set, they are old ARE rims and have cast center caps that cover the lug nuts and lock on.

Oh ok I see. So this is without frame notch or with...?

With just a frame notch but without modification to the wheelwell itself.
I consider correct backspacing probably the most important part of fitting a big tire and as you probably know as you go up in size beyond 15" you can run wider rims since as the tires get shorter so does the section width.
