Dash ligh work sometimes?

Awhile ago my dash lights stopped working and every once and awhile then just come back on randomly not everytime just sometimes. Wondering if anybody could help me out I'm tired of driving with no dash lights.

same thing happened to me. on mine it was the headlight switch, the contacts on the dimmer had burnt through. you can find them cheap on amazon or ebay. im planning on switching to a newer style one so i dont have to deal with that

Thats what I was thinking it was I got one from a junkyard for 3 dollars so I thought itd be worth a try but that one was broken too. And what do I search for when looking for the part?

Most auto parts stores carry them. Why buy a 20 year old part, they're not expensive.

I just thought I'd try it I was already at the junkyard getting a dash bezel thing so I figured why not

My cutlass has the same issue. My AC/heater assembly lights are out too.

Got a new headlight switch and it didn't fix the problem what else could it be?

My next guess (and that all, just a guess) would be where the harness connects to the cluster.

where is that located at?
